MailChimp

Mailchimp, starts at 2,000 subscribers and up to 12,000 emails a month free. MailChimp offers has beautiful email templates you can choose from and a step by step guidance should incase you want to create your own. Save emails you create as a new template to use in the future. Other features include a what you see, is what you get (WYSIWYG) editor, subscriber profiles, third-party integrations, analytics, sending plain text emails, and auto responder hosting. MailChimp is the go to for a beginner.

It offers you report of how your list is doing and AB testing to know what is working best.

It is simple to use and gives the basic features you need to manage and grow your subscriber list.

Cons: Before use make sure you read their terms correctly, if not if you violate any rule the kick you out.

If you are looking to promote affiliate offers, is best you don’t use mail chimp because your account will be banned.

Mailerlite

Mailerlite is extremely affordable, up to the first 1,000 subscribers are free. You can send as many emails as you want every month and you can delete and add subscribers easily. I LOVE the drag and drop email builders. They are so easy to work with and they look very professional. I also enjoy that they have many templates available. Your  readers will enjoy your emails. Many users love their emails and I no major complaints.

Cons: No landing page as a free user.

Mailrelay

Mailrelay is an advanced email marketing platform with powerful features. You can take advantage of a free Mailrelay account to send up to 15,000 emails every month, with the possibility of sending for up to 3,000 subscribers. Also, you can further increase this number following Mailreay on Facebook and Twitter.

One good thing is that the free accounts do not have advertisements included. It allows you to create, send and manage your newsletters providing complete subscriber behavior statistics.

Mailrelay lets you know who, where and when subscribers click in your newsletter, permits you to understand your customers by analyzing user behavior and increase your CTR and conversion rates.

Cons: You cannot use mailrelay if you don’t have a website. You can only sign up with your own hosted email account.

You also have to use it in Google chrome, so you can translate the language to english.

SendInblue

One of the best free email marketing plans I’ve found! SendInBlue offers 9,000 free emails per month — which include access to their email template library, unlimited contacts, and mobile-friendly designs.

Cons: However, due to the nature of this plan, there are daily sending limits and the SendInBlue logo is visible on all emails.

Need a more robust plan? Their micro plan gives users 40,000 email per month and only costs $7.37 monthly.

Elitee Mail

Choose from a myriad of fully-customizable templates, share your emails on popular social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+, take advantage of a fully-branded subscription center where your customers can set up their preferences, enter their info and even edit their profiles (talk about making you look sophisticated!), and fall in love with the live ticker that delivers your stats as they’re happening. (Ideal for those of us who are less-than-patient when we’re waiting for metrics!).
